We are really excited to launch Top Tip Tuesdays!

Top Tip Tuesdays are a weekly newsletter to help you capture and enjoy family memories.

We understand how important it is to create memories that will last a lifetime, and that’s why we’re here to offer our expertise and guidance. Every Tuesday, we’ll be sharing our top tips and tricks for taking beautiful photos, displaying your images at home, and creating keepsakes that you and your loved ones will cherish forever. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just starting out capturing your new baby, we’ve got something for everyone.

We thought we’d keep it seasonal and kick things off with our top tips for capturing family memories over Easter holidays:

  • MAKE A PLAN:  Make a list of the activities you plan to do over the Easter holidays and think about how you can capture those moments through photos or videos. This will help you be prepared and ensure you don’t miss any special moments.
  • GET CREATIVE:   Experiment with different angles, lighting, and composition to create unique and interesting photos. Don’t be afraid to try new things and get creative with your shots.
  • CAPTURE CANDID MOMENTS;  Some of the best family memories are made in the spontaneous and unplanned moments. Be ready to capture these candid moments by keeping your camera or phone handy and always be on the lookout for those special moments.
  • INVOLVE EVERYONE:   Yes, we mean you! We know you hate having your picture taken but make sure you get involved too. We all love loads of photos of our kids, but they will cherish the photographs you are in. Please encourage everyone in the family to take photos and videos throughout the Easter holiday. This will help capture a variety of memories that you might not have captured with just the kids in shot.
  • PRINT AND DISPLAY:  Don’t let your family memories get lost on your phone or computer. Print your favourite photos and create a photo album or display them in your home. This will help keep those special memories alive and create a lasting reminder of the fun you had over the Easter holidays.

What’s your favourite way to capture family memories?

We would love to hear from you.

Let us know what you would like advice on and we can include your ideas in our upcoming newsletter.
